When the Victorian College of the Arts merged with the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music we were approached to help launch the new brand. Fine Arts and Music is an arts centre in Melbourne where students are taught to find the bravery within themselves and push their art to the highest level possible.
The first step of a journey is often the hardest to take. A custom animated typeface was developed for FA&M that features individual pieces taking a single step outside their natural boundaries.
Street posters are a medium often used by artists to advertise themselves. We wanted to present our students as legitimate, professional artists so using posters was an easy choice to make. We worked with a photographer to capture a range of images that show our students bravely immersing themselves in their art and displaying 100% commitment to their craft.
The endframe lockup was used across a range of social and pre-roll media.
